MSU partnered with Jenzabar to create a system to manage non-traditional training events. In other words, non-credit courses. Multiple departments within MSU were vested in the effort. MSU Global, as a leader in developing and delivering non-credit courses, was the lead in determining the requirements for the system.
As requirements and testing task leader, I was the technical liaison between MSU Global and the technology departments responsible for the development of the system. As technical liaison, my duties included:
- Facilitating requirements gathering meetings
- Analyzing and documenting the non-credit course business processes
- Identifying and documenting interface, datafield, and system functionality system requirements
- Documenting current processes used to manage non-credit courses
- Mapping and documenting system data architecture and workflow processes
- Preparing and executing system test procedures and processes
- Identifying and documenting security access configuration
- Providing system analysis and feedback to Jenzabar and MSU
- Training MSU Global staff
- Identifying and documenting system date logic and rules
- Providing feedback on the web interface designs
The work of the MSU team contributed to Jenzabar's NTS.
